fixed capital investments = net cash flow from investing = Gross changes in PPE
if you were given cashflows from investing, it may be prudent to exclude investments in other companies stocks/bonds.
if you are given net changes PPE, you should remember to add back depreciation
fixed capital investments have nothing to do with CFO
