Is it as simple as going 43% passed, therefore the MPS is 57%? I’m band 10 so trying to determine if there is any hope in retabulation. I’ve worked out my 40/60/80 but not sure how to read the results. Can anyone help?

I hope you didnt mean 1-.43% = 57% is the MPS! If thats what you meant, that is a wrong statement mate. It just means 43% of people crossed or equalled the MPS.
MPS is never given out and there was someone who tried to calculate the MPS based on results last year. I didnt checkout what was the result of that analysis/project though!

Although it’s never known with any certainty, many theorize (based upon the matrix differences among passing and Band 10 candidates) that the MPS for Level II is mid-60th percentile.
It is further theorized that for those on the borderline, your score in the Ethics section can be the difference between passing or not. For instance, if two candidates both got 76 questions correct (equivalent to 63.3% score) – but one got 4/12 in Ethics while the other got 10/12 in Ethics – then CFAI could pass the 10/12 but fail the 4/12 candidate. Again, this is only in theory but many believe (or have seen) this principle to hold true.
It was high, higher than last year’s for sure, but this was an easier test imo. I’m guessing around 66% based off of the rubrics
