Took some in college before a stats final with another guy and we studied at school all night. It basically turned me into a lab rat- on the other hand, I think the school kind of condones this by having the student center open 24 hours during finals- do they think people that aren’t on drugs are staying up all night? Anyways, what a waste considering I was a sh!tty student anyways.
Experience 2:
I took these generic addies when stuying for level 1. These things didn’t help at all, I couldn’t keep a boner when I was laying pipe (my only experience with ED!), and the next morning I threw up at work! So pretty much a 100% waste.
After that I just stuck with coffee or a blue monster.
^Eff yeah, part of the reason I had to blow out my colon was because there might have been residual traces of that crap and I needed the security of knowing it was 100% out of my system
I don’t understand it–I mean, they’re both stimulants, right? But adderall helps me focus on a task that I’m doing, while coffee and Red Bull just make me hyper. With adderall, I can study for several hours, but with caffeine, I just want to get up and run around. IOW, caffeine is not a substitute for Adderall, and I don’t really know why.
@CFAvsMBA: Didn’t you use that for cleaning your ‘piping’? How does it help with studies and tasks that need concentration?
I’m Bodhisattva on this one. Heard a lot good things about Ritalin and Provigil as well (a friend used it and swear by their effectiveness, and he was medical student btw), but then others say that these drugs have serious side effects and they f*ck you up in long-term (blood pressure, heart diseases, weight loss, skin diseases etc). There is no wonder/smart drug, unless a real doctor prescribe it, I would stay away from this stuff.
A cup of green tea (without sweetener) serves me the best. I dont think it has side effects, nor do I believe it has so many positive effects which magazines claim
