I use a selection of specific classical works that a UC study found to be facilitating learning (statistically significant, looked at the study paper myself). For motivation, however, a non-scientific study of my own found that Van Halen and AC/DC gets me into STATE like no other. NAVY Seal teams use Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” in order to stay motivated not to quit during a mission. Haven’t tried that one. In all seriousness… it’s all just noise, either you have the drive and the time to do it or you don’t.
