What lunch to eat on exam day to wake me up for second half

Last December when I took the L1 test I was so sleepy for the second half after eating a cold and gross chicken sandwich for lunch. What should I eat this time for L2 to “wake me up” for second half? Is McDonald’s going to do or something healthier is better? Will drinking coke wake me up because of the sugar or will that have a negative effect on concentration?

Taco Bell obviously. Just make sure a sink is available in the bathroom.

You should eat whatever you’re used to eating a lunch.

If you’re used to eating a salad, eat that.

If you’re used to eating a double cheeseburger with extra-large tater tots, eat that.

Exam day is not the day to go messing with your diet.

Food variety is extremely limited for my test centre. Oops.

I drank a can of coke and ate 3-4 candy bars on all my exams. Crashed hard after, went home and went to sleep at like 7

Bring your own lunch, don’t leave yourself at the mercy of take-out or waiting in lines.

The last two exams I ate a healthy fat heavy breakfast (eggs, avocado) with some berries or something so I was good for the AM. Kept it light at lunch with a peanut butter and banana sandwich… something that you can easily store without it going bad and isn’t the greasy nonsense you’ll see other candidates waiting in line to eat.

Last thing you want to be doing is going through digestive discomfort in the PM session because of some poor lunch choice. You can pig out the second the exam ends.

I’d make some tuna salad:

  • 1 7-oz. can tuna
  • 3 – 4 tbsp. dijon mustard
  • 3 – 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 – 4 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 – 4 tbsp. capers, drained
  • 2 – 3 ribs celery, diced
  • 2 – 3 dill pickle spears (the spicier the better), diced
  • 1 cup flat-leaf (Italian) parsley, chopped
  • 2 – 3 tbsp. slivered almonds (roasted, if desired)
  • 1 – 2 habanero peppers (or to taste), finely chopped

Mix it all together and enjoy!

(You might want to sample this a week or two before the exam, or adjust the recipe to suit your taste. Lime juice might be good in place of the vinegar, for example.)

Ah you trolls. I’m going to get the most decadent meal of my life during that two hours.

Haggis…don’t forget drink a double Scotch after meal (with no soda).

I second this, and wear a diaper so you don’t have to waste time walking to the bathroom.

Last year I saw this girl munching on chocolate bars like crazy during that lunch break.

peanut butter and jelly sandwhich on honey whole wheat bread…with cocoa puffs for desert.

Cocaine and 6-8 glasses of water.

easy on the dressing

  2. Don’t not eat cocaine.

  3. Be sure to get some fibrous veggies.

2-7 bananas

up to 5 rolls with chocolate inside

approx. 1l of coke

Contains the sugar for maybe a week, but will give you a big boost in the afternoon. And don’t forget the winner beer right after the exam :wink:

Crack Cocaine. You won’t need to eat – more time for studying during the break!
