What Lvl 2 section to study first?

Hi all! I just passed the Lvl 1 exam and thought to get a head start on Lvl 2 after hearing how difficult it is. Problem is, Schweser won’t send their books until October and I plan to borrow the 2011 study material from a friend. Can anyone recommend a section to start first? I guess it has to be a section that’s least likely to change by next year. Thanks in advance guys! : )

FRA

I did Level 1 in the order of the curriculum and I plan to do the same for Level 2.

Do the ones you suck at the worst first. In my case I’ve already gone through Fixed Income, and am now slowly going through Derivatives. FRA will be next then Quant. Not too worried about the other topics.

I’m going with Derivs than FI than Quant.

I would say FRA, the one I feel comfortable than other parts as well as it counts for the most weight in the exam. Have you guys already started to work on Level 2?

I would recommand you to finish with ethics. I personnally began with Quant and Economics, then Vol 2, 3 and 4 (in this order). These books are related to certain economic growth concept (it’s my opinion). For Equity valuation for example, you should access the economic environment you’re facing, etc…

Do quant first because it’s used in other sections of the curriculum.

I started several days ago. It’s the way too early, but I will start doing MSc in Finance this september, so I want to cover biggest sections (FRA and Equity) till september and then concentrate on university.

ethics first and then ethics last. The rest do in order

I would say do what you like or interested first… it will atleast help you get started :stuck_out_tongue:
