What steps do you need to take to have the experience approved?

I like to have my experience considered for the CAIA designation but I do not wish to pay membership for this current year or 2012.

I am wondering if there is a process like GARP to submit the experience for approval.

I am also looking for the answer to this question. I think there was someone by the name of icappaletti or something who used to be the official rep from CAIA on these forums. He might be able to help.

i just filled out my membership application, confirmed i had the required work experience, gave the contact details of 2 referees, paid the fee and then got an email saying it was approved and i can use the letters shortly after. it didn’t seem to have an option for work experience approval without paying the fees…
