I think JohnThainsLimoDriver would answer that better than I can.
History professor most likely… hell I considered quitting finance to go back and take a masters. In the end I’d prefer to keep it as a hobby though. I’d enjoy it a lot less if I had to do it as a career.
navy seal… still considering becoming a seal, aka kicking ass, but would like to keep it a hobby…
International Spy… still considering becoming a spy, aka kicking ass, but would like to keep it a hobby…
professional pinball player
How about ninja or drug-mule? Actually I think I would want to install solar panel systems
I’m an engineer, but if I didn’t want to do finance, I’d be working in international aid, or an economist, or a therapist
Seems like a lot of people want to be a therapist in here. Has anyone looked into how much extra school would be involved in that. I would guess a solid 7 years!
What didn’t i want to do… Fashion Designer Culinary Graphic Designer But i’ll settle for Anthony Bourdain’s job any day!!! the dude gets paid for going on vacation!!!

you are AOK in my book!! Thanks alot Ali!!!
I’d be teaching tennis – it’s pretty much the only type of job that would pay reliably well, and at least give me enough sustainable income while I spent the remainder of my free time working on biz school apps

I’m pretty sure that I’m better than that. Also, good coaches can still earn pretty decent livings even down in Texas; the bigger challenge is establishing a client base. That being said, freelance instructors that are around the NTRP 4.5 level regularly charge $40-45/hour net of court fees, and that certainly would be good enough for me. Besides, I’d be having fun too and it’s hard to put a price on that.

So $45/hour, 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year = $90,000. Assuming you are very successful at sourcing clients, you can cut that number by about a third so you’re basically pulling in 60Gs a year as a full-time tennis coach. Pass.
