Portal vignettes are, IMO a quite easier than for L2. Maybe due to lack of FRA. I miss it.

Are you planning to finish all Kaplan 6 full exams in addition to maybe the previous 5,6 years of AM papers and mocks?

A lot of people talk about doing 5-10 years previous AM papers and only 2-3 mocks. This is different from previous levels. So I am not sure If I still have time to finish all the Kaplan exams on top of the Topics test and CFA book Qs.

I am not sure that I even have 6 Schweser mocks. This time I purchased cheapest solution. I think there is only 3 full mocks. However, AM papers and official practicing material is my priority. If I would reach extra time, I will practice Schweser mocks as well.

i agree EOC more time consuming, i am skipping it for now.

Focuses on Portal Test (70% done in Feb) & begin to answer AM session while open the answer is my priority on March.

I also agree Portal Test are easier than L2.

Did 3 books from kaplan. Left with 5th and 1st book

is there a formulas sheet like Elan for L1 and L2?

Also are CFAI EOC’s important? Want to do 12-14 mocks for L3 and thats it.

IMO, Past AM papers are the key of success. Focus on them by high priority. If you are able to solve AM papers with 70 % on average, you would be able to solve vignettes with above 70 %.

IMO, Past AM papers are the key of success. Focus on them by high priority. If you are able to solve AM papers with 70 % on average, you would be able to solve vignettes with above 70 %.

If that’s the case should I skip repeating curriculum eoc and focus on past papers ?

This is just my opinion. However, CFAI EOCs will make you well prepared for AM papers. You have enough time for practicing both.

Spent the whole weekend and plane ride this morning on derivatives (luckily I have a strong background on these sections and knocked it out).

Hoping to finish book 5 for Kaplan in 7-10 days and knocking out the EOC questions (aggressive timeline I know). Then with 77 days left I’ll be focusing on improving my technique for the morning session and doing an extensive review on book 2 and 3. The currency sections scare me

This is just my opinion. However, CFAI EOCs will make you well prepared for AM papers. You have enough time for practicing both.

Started GIPS today … last chapter vol 5 … did every chapter plus kaplan schweser EOC plus qbank for each chapter and bi-weekly video on essay questions… will now prepare for levelup bootcamp with Marcs videos as review and then all relevant CFAI EOC questions then mocks. Want to finish schweser this weekend. …!

Most people tell me to focus on the essay/constructed response only. The multiple choice will fall into place as a by product. Going with this strategy…

I tried three of them and I like them. They’re to the point. About 90 min generally . Moreover Marc is really supportive!
