Friday: Go over formulas. Read Secret Sauce. Do Qbank. Read Scwheser QuickSheet. Go over Ethics notes.

Learn ethics
Just studying ethics examples. nothing more for me!
Quicksheet and Secret Sauce Wont actually read them, theyll just be next to me like a comfort blanket. No one can learn anything else now anyway, it is either in the head or not. Personally I wouldnt touch anything tommorrow…last thing you want is a dodgy mock exam score killing the confidence or “that last concept I just cant grasp”. No point, diminishing returns etc etc. Xbox and a swim at the hotel tommorrow. Lovely
I’m going to do questions in some FRA sections and review ethics tonight (thursday). Friday I’m done. Not going to touch the books or look at them.
Today: reviewing what I did wrong on the CFAI mock, reviewing the formula sheets, going over some IFRS vs GAAP, cash flow classification things
Tomorrow: running some errands, trial drive to the test center, laundry, pick up black ops 2 from the office (has been locked up in my desk all week), probably a quick look over the formula sheets again
Not sure, might just read my cheat sheet hundred times. I’ve done lots and lots of studying. Prob get my haircut, on Friday, so I’m prepared for Saturday night on the town…getting drunk and chatting up women.
mock exams… and some more mock exams…
and memorize all the bloody formulas. It’s rediculous how many formulas there are…
Is anyone bothering to memorize the lower and upper bounds for options (american vs. european) formulas?
I’m skipping the American/Euro option stuff. I’ll just guess on those. I was surprised at how often they were present in the mock exam. And I was surprised at how little annuities due were present in the mock exam.
An old grad school interview question:
“It’s the night before your big exam, and your best friend calls you up and he’s/she’s devastated because they’ve broken up with their bf/gf. They could really use a friend right now. Do you go to them or keep studying?”
And the joke is the right answer is supposed to be:
“Of course I help my friend. It’s the night before the exam, I’m already FINISHED all my studying!”
Thank you, you’ve been a great audience.
@majda, you’re doing mock exams the day before the big test? Wow!
I have to say i did a big mistake doing mock last night. I redo the 2012 am cfai mock, only got 50 pct in equity now stressed out. Although up to question 96 of 120 i did 77 pct right that really bugs me to no end that cud only slept after 1 am (i did 57 pct first time taking the am 2012 mock, so it is an improvement i guess)
so today is friday and i will just read answer to mocks and not really doing d mocks. Guess it is time to acknowledge we will make mistakes so just focus on what we already know to really really master it
good luck all, hopefully by february we will switch to level 2 discussion forum
