When are you going to STOP studying?

People have different opinions on this. Some people study up until the last minute and even during the lunch break, but I guess I’m going to stop Thursday night. I will do a final review of my formula sheet or something on Friday morning (<30 min total of studying) and then take it easy the whole day. I plan on watching Get Him to the Greek by myself Friday afternoon and have a nice dinner. I’m just going a little crazy studying. When are you guys going to stop?

Library closes at 6 Friday night, so I’ll cut off then. If you don’t know the material by then, chances are you won’t know it Saturday. Studying during the break is a joke, it just adds to the tension.

Friday at lunchtime. From tomorrow afternoon, it’s all ethics baby!

I have to admit, I’ve been coasting a little this week already - however, official stop time for studying will be Friday evening sometime. Not planning on studying during the 2 hours.

I actually think studying during the break is a good ploy. Do a quick gloss of the stuff that was not tested in the morning. I think it serves you well.

June 6 2011 BABY!

Probably around noon on Friday…

I planned to study during the break for LI; however, couldn’t remember what was heavily tested in the morning. Spent lunch eating in my car and relaxing in the AC. It may work better for LII given 10 items sets in the AM. I tend to agree w/ dpdulog… it just adds to the tension. Human nature will lead you to look up a question from the morning… if you answered incorrect, you could put yourself on a slippery slope downhill.

the 2 hour study break will be a great time to review everything you DIDNT see in AM, IMO. my sisters apt is a block from my test center in NYC and i plan on going there for lunch, to study, to “alleviate some stress”, and a quick nap.

You hardly have 2 hours… by the time the proctors gather all of the test materials, you get out of the test center, eat… Afternoon booklets and test instructions begin 30 minutes before go time in the afternoon.

I’ll probably never stop studying for this sh#t The responsible thing to do is to stop in the afternoon on Friday and do your best to get a good night rest. Study 12 months for 120 questions = brutal

late friday afternoon/early friday evening.

While I see potential benfit in brushing up on topics you didn’t see in the morning exam, I will not review over lunch for three main reasons: 1) You are bound to come across some information that points to you missing questions in the morning section. That will do you no good at all and will just stress you out as others have pointed out. 2) I have been studying hard since January. If I haven’t learned it by Saturday, I don’t think it’s going to stick all of the sudden. 3) The day is already filled with 6 hours of intense mental application. I will use those 2 hours for my mind to relax and rebuild the stamina before the afternoon exam. During Level 1, I could hardly focus 90 minutes into the afternoon section just because of how mentally exhausted I was. Taking 2 hours to let your mind rest will likely lead to more correct answers in the afternoon, then cramming hard over that time.

I will study until 9PM or so on Friday, pop in a movie and hopefully be snoozing by 1130. Last year, I tossed and turned until about 3AM, it was awful. I don’t think I could have been in a worse mindset for the exam. I was exhausted and my stomach felt like it was in a knot the entire day. I think I would have preferred a nasty hangover to the way I felt. Somehow I feel a repeat of last year coming on…

Will stop mid day friday. Hardcore studying on friday is more detrimental in my mind than it is helpful. Be rested and ready to peak, not tired and burnt out and rushing to get it over with… Relax…have some beers.

reebs…im sure u mean sat night…or are you drinking the night before the test?? I was hungover as heck for the BSSA mock test in philly and did 72/78…maybe repeat perf??? na

HAHA… you’re right. I just look forward to it so much I’m getting impaired already when I think about it  I was in that exam as well. Are you in Philly or South Jersey?

If I don’t figure out how to actually retain anything about accounting within the next two days, I probably won’t stop studying until around this time next year…

Philly… I was too drained to do anything after L1…save it for the bike race the next day
