When should you do your final practice test?

Are you trying to leave X number of days before the exam free to simply review important/weak areas etc, or will you be doing mocks/samples right up until the Friday? Discuss.

I’d say 6/7/09. You’d want a ‘cool down’ exam to see how you fared on 6/6/09.

June 3rd if I am still doing crappy . . . then I can review weak areas one last time and pull 1 last all nighter Wed night, take a nap, and then wake up sometime on Thursday refreshed

I don’t think it would be wise to do a practice test the Friday before the exam. I hope I don’t resort to doing one on Thursday.

I believe Schweser recommends do the final practice test on Monday. Then spend the remaining days to review and aim to get ample rest before Saturday.

05/31/09 I’ll do my last exam. It will be the PM section of the CFAI mock.

Take it about 7 hours b/f the real exam. Allowing yourself just barely enough time to get to the testing center.

My plan is to do the AM mock next weekend and the PM Mock during the 30/31st May.

Probbaly 6/1 so I can be in ‘war’ mode for problem solving. I will probably review all practice tests as part of final prepartion.

No but some people here will probably continue reviewing on the 7th. Back to the topic, last year I did a mock on the friday. I ended up getting pretty bad sleep. I’ll do my last one on thursday this year, and just re-read things on friday, in the hotel’s sauna, with style.

For lvl 1 I took my last exam the day before. Will probably do the same this year.
