There appears to be a high correlation with AF users and passing scores. Is it because more serious candidates seek out forums such as these, or does the forum actually assist in the outcome? I think it’s a combination of both.

It’s most likely due to the fact that more serious candidates seek out these types of forums. Plus, it’s biased since the people who pass are more likely to post scores vs. those who don’t. Look at the results threads to see all the lurkers who recently joined AF (I’m one of them!).
