Texas Instruments (TI) BA II + Professional. I never used it before the CFA exam and it is pretty easy to use.

You can take the TI 83 graphing calculator. But they go around and clear your memory.

topher, How do they expect to pass if they clear the formulas from my calc? Have they gone mad?

If you have never used an HP, I’d use the TI calculator. Also, I recommend that you use the calculator for all your work in the office. That way you get used to using it and gain familiarity and practice prior to the exam.
