“Community property” means that any assets you acquire during marriage are split between the husband and wife. It does not mean that the state appropriates all your money (state taxes are pretty high. That is besides the point though). Or am I misunderstanding what you said?

BS, I really think most people on this forum (especially Blake) can take care of themselves. Practically nothing ad hominem posted on an anonymous forum matter…because you don’t know who the “hominem” is.

I’m sorry you didn’t like being called a beta and you feel it oversimplify’s your uniqueness. That being said, ad hominem attacks are never really useful, and whole threads dedicated to the task don’t really fit within the forum guidelines. If you feel ad hominem attacks don’t matter, then there’s no reason to use them.

I think one of the key points that Brain and BS are missing is this: there is no “ad hominem” argument here. An “ad hominem” fallacy, in the typical sense, is rejecting an argument on the basis of some irrelevant fact about the author. EG - saying, “John Doe says X. But John Doe has an ugly girlfriend, so he must be wrong.”

In the OP, however, the argument is Blake himself, not some statement that he has made. The only way you could make an ad hominem attack is on the person stating the argument (in this case, me). Don’t confuse an insult with an ad hominem argument.

I believe it was a thread discussing software. Bchad typed something, then Blake replied by stating that Bchad was the most useless poster here and that his posts were a waste of space. A side of Bchad we’ve never seen then emerged and it was game on. All this while 95% of AF was asleep as it was a few hours before dawn eastern time.
