Who pays for Interview?

If a candidate needs to fly to another city for a job interview, it used to be that the employer would pick up the tab. Is it still the case or the candidate is expected to pay? How would you handle this issue with the perspective employer?

some do, some don’t. make sure to ask

If they don’t, at least you get a tax deduction. Still better if they pay though. If by any chance you miss the flight because you overslept, be sure to lie and come up with a better excuse.

If they want you, they’ll pay.

^ haha i remember that.

Usually the employer picks up the tab. Just don’t miss your flight. If you do happen to miss your flight don’t give some lame @ss excuse such as you overslept or there was traffic.

Yeah and don’t book through NetJets either - will start a bad relationship with the expense department.
