it means that your don’t keep complete records of the proxies you have voted this has more to do with keeping records in my opinion than voting proxies (you are not supposed to always vote proxies, only when it is economical to do so) but to not keep records of proxies you have voted while in control of the client’s shares would be a violation of your duty to the client

to give you an example, this is analogous to buying shares for a client’s portfolio, but not keeping record of why the shares were bought or how you reached that decision in this case, you are not keeping complete records of the votes you have casted using the client’s shares

Thanks a lot. English is hard. I thought if the proxy voting is incomplete, I keep a record of it.
