Wiley Mock Exams

For those that have taken the Wiley Mock’s and the CFAI mock and the Schweser mock, would you say the Wiley is closer to the CFAI mock? I am finishing up the Schweser mocks and wondering if I should buy the two Wiley to get a different question style. Thoughts?

I have not but thanks for sharing this tip. I have been wanting to get my hands on an extra mock or two. I don’t see any harm in taking an extra 2 mocks.

Are you sure they are the genuine mock exams ? I ask because why would they provide their paid mocks for free in the trial? If it is some random low quality mock I dont think it will be worth the time and effort.

I have not done them myself but I looked over them and I am pretty sure they are the 2 genuine mocks that Wiley provides. I may still be wrong though. You can go and see for yourself, the sign-up process only takes a few minutes.

I took two of the Wiley Mocks and wasn’t a fan of them. The vignette seemed overly short in my opinion. And a couple questions covered things I couldn’t find in the book.

I printed out all of the topic tests, and I’ve just been choosing some topic tests randomly from each subject, making sure it somewhat fits the exam weighting and just doing that. I have learned a ton with this method. The topic tests get so granular it’s ridiculous, but a great way to make sure you understand every single little nuance.

  1. can’t print Wiley mocks 2) I found quite a few glaring errors in the answer key (which were confirmed with the content team) 3) More than one vignette was from old curriculum content which is not being tested in 2016 4) more difficult in content than CFAI Mock but shorter vignettes That being said they are still good for practice, but I was disappointed in the exam considering how top notch their other other offerings are.

Guys, do you have any advice on how to get the most out of this 2 week trial other than taking 2 mocks?

Just did the free Wiley Mock Thanks to Lunacy for the link scored a 72 (65 in part 1and 78 in part 2). part 1 was a bit tricky but part 2 was straight forward.The mock was straight from the cbok i would say.
