Will I be a CFA candidate after exam?

Will I be a CFA candidate after exam but before the results announced? As far as I know - If I faled I would no longer be a CFA candidate until I enroll for another try.

that’s correct.

hmm…wouldn’t technically you still be a candidate until you get your results? not like it matters…but still…

candidate until results out. not a candidate until you enroll for another exam.

Wow! Whatever my results will be I will stop being a candidate!

then what are we if we passed ? - suppose we dont have the work experiences yet

No. Pass and you will become a “charter pending candidate” until reciept of letter telling you you’re a CFA Charterholder* Fail and you will stop being a candidate until you enroll again. * which at one time must have stood for Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder - real nice. You won’t be able to use the word “charterholder” in the UK since the Queen rejected CFAI’s application. So in the UK you just get to add “CFA” onto your business card / email and then try not to spend ages explaining what it is if anyone asks.

Thanks for full explanation!
