While former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow wowed evaluators with his on-field performance at the NFL combine last month, he scored a 22 out of 50 on the Wonderlic test, the Palm Beach Post reported, citing an NFL source. The 12-minute test measures an individual’s learning and problem-solving abilities. According to the Post, the average Wonderlic score for an NFL quarterback is 24. The newspaper also reported that the quarterback prospects in Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest rankings on ESPN.com – Sam Bradford of Oklahoma (36), Colt McCoy of Texas (25) and Jimmy Clausen of Notre Dame (23) – scored higher than Tebow. Anybody taken this test?
Never taken it, but didn’t Dan Marino score 15 or 16?
I heard Brian Griese scored a 39 and Vince Young was below 10.
Took it at a trading interview… actually alot harder than expected… think I got high 30’s.
Looked at a mock one a year or two ago and it’s crazy easy. Maybe if you havent banged out 5 reps of 315 on bench press and fired off a sub-5second 40. Still though…
What would someone in MENSA (>98th percentile in intelligence) score? I think I could bang out a high 40s score personally.
The test is a joke, it has a bunch of dumbed down GMAT-type questions. Just looked at a sample.
http://www.professormoney.com/wonderlic%20sample%20test.htm If this is any indicator, it is very easy. But I also don’t think this has any correlation with football IQ or the ability to be a good player.

It is easy… but significant time pressure… if I had seen one before and strategized would have broke 40… but its no joke… still vince youngs performance suggests he can barely read and add/subtract/multiply/divide.
Chad should launch the AF Wonderlic Contest 2010 and throw a $100 Amazon gift to the winner. We are bringing revenue to AF and need some incentive to keep doing so.
I reckon most people that have 700+ GMAT scores would score in the 40s.
Wonderlic, hehe, I’m sure he had a fun childhood. That test is a joke. Anybody scoring a 700+ GMAT should score a 50.
For some reason i dont think Tebow is at all concerned with getting a 23 on the Wonderlic. The dude can run a sub 4.5, bench over 400. He might be a longshot for QB status in the NFL but will definitely be taken by someone and get paid millions while preaching about Jesus and such.
