i would like to know that how do you get your work experience verified -is it a letter from employer or self declaration and what kind of work ex is required for the charter ppost passing both FRM part 1 and 2??
Once you pass Part 2 you’ll be asked to send in a CV and a professional reference. GARP will then verifiy that your work experience is appropriate (2 years in Financial Risk Management). After that all you need to do is decide where to hang the certifcate.
I am working in retail baanking operations dept in India.Do they accept this experience to issue the charter?
Well I don’t know but it depends on where you are working!!! What is current job function??? Will you be writing exam before or after req work exp is rec’d???
If you compleet req work exp ex post clearing the exams, you will be ok…but hey buddy…make sure that your work exp consist of risk management or quant-related description!!!
