So managing portfolios does not count as work experience for the CFA? What gives?

are you sure it has not been accepted or just the website says 0 months accepted? the latter should be normal, i see the same
me too. you have to wait for them to approve it before it is accepted. it can take weeks.
It says 24 month accepted, which means that they rejected over half of my work experience. I called them and they told me on the phone that if I send an email with a more detailed description of the rejected work experience it is likely that they will accept it. I am going to try it. The way I see it those rejected months are eligible.
