I got an email stating that my request to upgrade from affiliate membership to regular membership was approved. I logged in, saw “, CFA” after my name. Called CFAI and got the confirm. The guy told me that once the website identifies you as xxx, CFA then you can start using the designation. Actual Charter will take another 6 to 8 weeks to ship.

was upgraded as regular member this morning, too. waiting now for the actual charter, a ceremony will be held in Paris in december

how do you know when the monthly meeting for your society takes place? I’m in Toronto
hey guys, just curious - there is a job description on the CFAI website that is “acceptable” that exactly matches my job - would you likely get approved if you just regurgitate their description? i only ask because their website has a pretty high level description thats only a couple of sentences…

Toronto - Tuesday January 11th 5-7:00 pm, Royal York Hotel, Imperial Room. Charter recipient & 1 guest is free. Additional guests are $35. The charter will not be awarded to us at ceremony but mailed to us In December. Group photo at 5:30 PM Our names listed in the next quarters ( Dec 31) edition of “The Analyst”
