Working for company found guilty of fraud/cooking the books?

What is the thought on this? If it occured several years back, prior to you joining the company, will people still view you negatively and will having it on your resume hurt you down the line?

If your best opportunity is with a company like this, would you take the position, or would you turn it down and accept a lesser job with a company with a clean record?

You talking about J.P. Morgan?

Go for the money. Nowadays it’s pretty tough to find gainful employment with clean companies in any industry.

No im talking more about a smaller more regional firm

seems to be what most people seem to have said. Im a little surprised

It’s possible. Never underestimate the stupidity of HR when it comes down to filtering applicants.
