What’s the worst GPA you’ve seen use to get into a top 15 business school?
I don’t know exact numbers, but some kid at Harvard, who apparently also had a poor GPA, had a low 500s GMAT score. I think the story goes something like this: he had to work to support his family during school, and so he had been working at UPS. He became a warehouse manager by his early 20s and was managing over 80 staff or something like that. I’ll try to find the link.

Is this for application or informational purposes? Most business schools publish the 25th to 75th percentile undergraduate GPAs of their incoming class. You can assume that anything below the 25th percentile is at the floor. Individual instances of people with extremely low GPAs getting into these schools are typically outlying values - i.e. some people win lotteries, but you cannot count on being able to replicate them.
W had a 2.35 GPA and got in into HBS.
You can look at the incoming class statistics for whatever school you want to attend - they’ll give you the range of GPA’s for that class. I’ve seen a 2.7 - 4.0 range at a top-5 school.

Time to start taking courses in making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, folks.

I bet prospective students cannot wait to sit in the classroom and hear all about his experience carrying breath mints. He will have so much knowledge to add to the case studies.

>but you cannot count on > being able to replicate them. No need to assume that I am not one of these “outliers”.

The picture and the comment. “Harvard + MBA Program = the decline of civilization…but in a “good” way.” This one is nice too.
I’m not saying that it will not happen - you just have to recognize that if you have poor grades, the odds will be against you. Obviously, I should not draw conclusions without knowing the background of the person that is applying. Just consider that everyone who applies to business school pulls some sob story out of their ass - it is often difficult for the admissions committee to tell which applicants have gone through genuine hardships and which are just embellishing their histories.
