Writing on Question paper

Is it ok to highlight or write or mark on question paper in the exam? I do simple mistakes like not doubling 6 month rate etc. I want to write a reminder on the question before start using calculator so that I will verify one more time. I also want to put a star to review the question later. I am wondering if it is ok to write whatever I want on question paper?

good question chinni, could anyone shed some light on this?? Even I do a lot of writing per question to avoid ‘those’ common mistakes

yes, you can.

that is the only scratch paper you have, and they take it all back after the test. So you can go right ahead and scribble all you please.

Also make sure you do not write anything on Hall ticket else it is a big offense.

i wrote all over my booklet. it looked like a war zone. and i passed.
