But at the same time, 2 minutes??! What the hell man, why would you put yourself in that kind of position?. Second, you actually cheat the other candidates because with those extra 2 mins you could have solve an additional question or two.
Seriously dude, 2 minutes is a long time. Are you one of those people who leaves the shading of ovals until the end?
Writing after the time is called is not cheating if the intention wasn’t there. depends on how long it lasted. A few second? then in my opinion it aint so bad, and the CFA institute should show mercy if you can justify. I find this to be very harsh if they penalize you. Go and defend it.
even in the absolute worst case scenario, you should have dropped your pencil after 5 seconds, that’s how long it takes for the annoucement of “tiem is up, drop your pencils, if you keep writing you are in violation…”
if you were written up for 2 min AFTER, then you’re guilty. and admit guilt.
Wow I am worried because of 1 proctor advice me that I had written 1 second after the morining exam had finished… For now I have not received anything…
I hope it contue in that way until the day results!
Dani789, I doubt that would be the case. Generally everyone gets the email stating they will receive result, however PCP letters arrives via bag mail and can arrive until the result arrives.
2 secs = 2 mins = CFAI definition of writing after time called-- score will be voided. Latter case may be one year suspension and not able to enroll for next exam. Tough rule, but it’s pretty unambiguous.
