Thanks for pointing out max/min. As everyone can see the range is WILDLY dispersed, so don’t read too much into any 40/60/80 score, though I realize it’s the best we can do.

The 300 Hours website is emailing out results using the 2012 test even though you fill out a template for 2013.

Manually calculated score:

Fail Band 9

40/60/80- 61.8%

AM- 55.6%

PM- 68%

I was thinking that I scored 100/180 or about 55% in the AM, and hoped to score above 70% in the PM to pass. Guess I came up short of that goal, and certainly short of the MPS.

Edit: I just recalculated my score…manually…its not even 58.11 its 59.11. I was so frustrated that in alt inv i used 60 insetad of 80. so Band 7 with 59.11. i even used the probablity method,where .25 for <50, .6667 for >50 and .91 for >70. it gives 59.3 .

That’s odd. We have a 58.3 pass, and a 58.1 fail band 7.

We can chalk that up to the imperfection of the scoring method.

My colleague’s score with a pass: 61.1% overall, 52% AM, 70% PM. So the wild range aside, the MPS was probably just above 60%. This colleague had ethics at >70% compared to mine 50-70%, and otherwise very similar scores.

I passed Level 2 on my first attempt, I thought I would be good for Level 3. Took a 7-month course and everything. Pretty crushing feeling right now.
