How can I fail if it was 61.6 % ? I wish i could see my AM paper. People passed with 59%.
how tight do we think the band ranges are? Like are we talking less than 15 points is the difference between pass and like a band 8?
Pass, 63.78% overall; 68% AM, 60% PM.
From the scores I’ve seen posted in the other thread, I’d say the band ranges are quite tight, no idea on specifics though, obviously.
mine is a whopper - 72.78%
some dood was right- the whiners and the naggers always score big.

I think real number should be a bit higher… I know I killed Ethics and a few other topics that I got 70+ on
Because this is a horribly inaccurate method of estimating your actual % correct.
You could have a 60% under this method and have actually scored either 75% or 37%.
It’s possible that someone with a 50% under this method actually scored higher than someone with a 70%.

failed … 56% - band 7 = pretty devastated. 3 yeras to pass L1 & L2 (2 attempts) … and this one is 4th year. Not sure now if i’ll continue. Although really didn’t practice the essay portion, and preparation wasn’t great - had to cram at last 2 months - that showed on exam. thought i did okay to pass. Wondering if i messed up something on writing where i didn’t put something on right template.
3 years?? I enrolled in level 1 in 2003. Chin up mate. It can be done.
How did you arrive at 81.11% for PM
In the 40/60/80 method the max that you can score in any individual subject/question is 80% … Hence an aggregate of 80% is the Upper limit for the method … unless you modified it in some way
