Zimmerman Case

I don’t think there’s been any looting. Some protests that have turned a little ugly but nothing major.

.

I would have joined my brothers in New York and protest but I don’t have anymore paid time off…

Keep up the good fight, Stormy! You and Jackie Robinson and Nelson Mandela!!!

I think the Feds would win a violation of civil rights case pretty easily.

I can’t wait for a movie to be released based on this incident, just like “Fruitvale” was based on Oscar Grant.

Zimmerman’s next move: he’s going to law school " to help people wrongly accused of crimes like himself".

Hopefully he’s better at law than he is at law enforcement.

I need to get in on some looting one of these days. I was hoping to capitalize on Hurricane Sandy last year, but all those rich white folks down the shore were cruising around in Boston Whalers with shotguns are AR-15’s, shooting anyone who came across the bay.

Well it was bound to happen I guess.

Nothing quite sticks it to the man like attempting to steal jewelry from Wal Mart. Also, here’sa protip: Don’t assault the reporter that’s covering your protest.

Article does not say whether the people in the overturned car were black.

^ hasn’t George already done enough “good?”

Concerning the feds getting involved, what evidence exists that the shooting was race based? Zimmerman was exhonerated because of stand your ground laws which have nothing to do with race. If Martin killed Zimmerman he would have been charged as an adult. So this BS of Zimmerman killing a child is a joke.

Aristotle said “The law is reason, free from passion.” What this means is the law is the law. It does not matter what my opinion is or what yours is. What matters is the interpretation of the law. According to FL law Martin broke a law. And a jury made the correct decision.

This is a classic states rights issue and the feds have absolutely zero business getting involved.

^ I don’t think stand your ground came I to the trial. They would have had a hearing and decided not to take it to trial because of stand your ground.

You aren’t very familiar with the trial if you think stand the ground was used in court, which is a shame given the amount of time the TV is spending on this. Turn off the TV and read some articles about it – the coverage is far superior.

I’ve pulled the Florida statutes applicable to the case and its clear the question comes down to “Was Trayvon doing enough damage for Zimmerman to be in fear of his life?” If yes, not guilty. If no, guilty. It was a simple self defense trial – the laws are very similiar to many other states.

They named the royal baby after Zimmerman
