Eh… I’ve always enjoyed my time in MKE. It’s all about bars per capita.
Congrats on the L3 pass; was thinking maybe I’d have a native to bounce ideas off for my own attempt. I’m in WI as well S2000, but it’s not Milwaukee, so your condolences may be more appropriate for myself.
I’m offering my condolences only because of the snow.
I live in Orange County, CA. If I want snow in the Winter, I drive to Palm Springs, where it’s 80°F, and take the tram up to the top of Mount San Jacinto, play in the snow until I’m cold and wet and tired, then take the tram back down to Palm Springs, where it’s 80°F.
BTW - to posters on the original thread topic - availability of Level III exams - please note that once 2014 exams are posted - you will lose access to the 2011 exams. So make sure you have downloaded the 2011 exams before hand.
Thanks. I’ve been meaning to ask; are taking from 2000 really going to be very helpful? Haven’t the curriculum & exam structure changed enough over the years to the point where practicing a 2004 exam isn’t all that helpful? Just curious. Thanks!
You got it. Agreed. At the moment, with the exception of GIPS and Ethics which I plan to knock out in April and May, I plan to be done with all readings (CFAI and Schweser) by end of March after which I’m shooting on a full practice exam each weekend.
With respect to the CFAI AM mocks, you’re totally right. Personally, I plan on working down starting from the most recent. As you get further back in time, the material becomes less important/relevant to the current exam and the focus is really more on the AM constructive response technique. Honestly, I’m not sure how far I will really be able to have time to go back so I’m less concerned.
