I e-mailed CFA Institute this morning and they e-mailed me the exam and guideline answers this afternoon.
I was particularly interested in the Fixed Income questions and was very happy with what I saw.

Because he got it right. He waited a year to confirm if his response was within the guidelines!
Because I wrote four Level III practice exams and had no guidance about how the new Fixed Income readings from 2018 would be tested in the morning. It turned out that the morning session questions I wrote were on par with those in the actual exam.
After reading you’ve all received the exam after e-mailing CFAI, I sent them the same message and got this as a response:
------------------------------------ Thank you for contacting us. Access to prior AM session mock exams is only available for current candidates of the CFA Program Level III exam. Since this is a benefit that is included in the cost of registration for the CFA Program, we are not able to provide this candidate resource to someone who is not a candidate.
We appreciate your understanding. ------------------------------------ Que?
Maybe the fact that I e-mail them so frequently led to special treatment.
I don’t rightly know.

I have seen the exam now as well. Two points: I cannot even recall ~30% of the questions + they have definitely edited the exam as I have looked for a certain question and couldnt find it. I still have that question 100% in my mind as I was going nuts in the exam on this particular one. But they removed it.
Maybe they edited the equity questions because equity was redone in 2019, and they wanted the questions to be more relevant for current test taker?
I just e-mailed them and they got back to me within 3 minutes with the exam. Seems like the easiest way to do this…
My response took about an hour but I received a copy as well. Reading through it brought back some rough memories of trying to muscle through that thing… Glad it is behind me. Good luck L3 candidates.

So . . . if I have this straight . . . you’re asking the Level III candidates here, who are bound by the Code and Standards, to violate the Standards by sending you the exam.

Hi S2000, not sure why you read into my request that I was asking Level III candidates?
My request was referencing previous comments from MrNoFear, bazz etc. (who I believe, like me, sat and passed the exam last year) who advised they had contacted CFA Institute with the same request as mine, yet their request was fulfilled, whereas I was treated differently for some reason. So I was hoping to leverage the good favor that they received and using their good will to send this information to me. I don’t believe this would be in contravention of any standards, nor was it a request that Level III candidates violate the standards, and I take exception to your suggestion that I would be so blase about such a violation.

I just took the 2018 AM test for practice… wow what a cake walk compared to some other years exams.
Maybe all the questions have been changed and this isnt the real AM exam, but equity portion is like EOC questions lol. Simple.
