Anyone able to apply for the 2018 scholarship? I am able to, is that telling?

Sheesh that means the pass rate for repeaters is significantly lower than 1st time takers - that doesn’t feel intuitively correct.

Just so you know, that “time table” is the same every year. They don’t change it. And from them being overly conservative (according to 2015 L3 slip-up) im going to say that they’re probably using that “timetable” as a general guideline and not following it to a T. But that’s just my hunch. In any event, L1 and L2 are DEFINITELY in the system at this point. Because they’re not gonna work this weekend (tried calling them last year on the weekend and no one answered), and monday uploads would be too much of an operational risk. And you can’t even count on tuesday bc its starts rolling out at 9AM EST

It’s also not hard to imagine that, though the MPS was set this week, the MPS likely doesn’t fluctuate much more than +/-5%. So, if your score was a 20% or an 80% (to use extremes) they don’t need to wait to set the MPS to know if you passed or not. Possible that 80% of Level 3 scores are already entered and the remaining 20% are being re-graded or were within the MPS fluctuation range and will be entered in the next few weeks.

@danv0330 - you can settle this once and for all for the 2x takers by testing the tell!!!

You know you are curious

Right, I concur. Finally, there is an agreement in this thread!

:+1:

I just wanna know what this 1 box 2 box thing means!

@danv0330 you hold this power!

Weeks 8-10 After eight weeks, Level I and II exam results are released by email and available on the CFA Institute website. Level III grading and quality-control processes ensure that scores are captured correctly in the computerized systems. Approximately ten weeks post exam day, Level III results are released.

i’m defecting to the 2 box club. no way viraj failed

All the retakers failed? I find that hard to believe, too.

It’s probably just a glitch…

I don’t think this is pass/fail tell. I think for someone the system might be treating individuals who applied for a scholarship in the past differently than those who have not.

Although possible, I would be surprised if all the results have already been uploaded.

Honestly not sure what’s going on.

Not all the retakers have box 1 - just a larger majority (I am guessing 75 percent)
