Ashley Madison Hack

I’m checking out the JPM and BOA email addresses for hits. Will report back.

It’s an international site. Apparently there are many, many profiles using email addresses coming from the UK government. Not surprising at all actually.

WAIT. STOP. DON’T do this. Don’t check these websites 1.

Let’s just all take a deep breath and reflect on what has become of us, as a people. A website was created so that married people could easily cheat on each other, and then a reported 40 million people signed up, and then angry hackers stole their data and released it to the world out of righteous vengeance. And now the moral crowd gathers to shame and condemn. To point fingers. To search for spouse’s emails with breath clenched tight. This is the sad state of modern affairs (OK, yes, pun intended). This is the quiet desperation of the masses. This is the pathetic morass of our culture.

We should not play along. We should get off the ride. We should not search this database for our loved ones. We should take our kids to the water park. We should close our computers and walk out into the sunshine of late summer and feel the heat of our glorious life-sustaining superstar on our cheeks.

_ "Josh Duggar has confessed to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar, just one day after the emails of millions of users on infidelity website Ashley Madison were exposed, including the eldest Duggar son’s information."_

“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife,” he wrote. "

what?? viewing porn is cheating?

^ Is that the same Duggar who had sex with his sisters? Hard to keep track of al them there Duggars.

He’s supposed to be from a very Christian household.

He was watching porn and having an affair

why do you need porn if youre having an affair?

I had to look up this Duggar character and after reading the Wikipedia page, my IQ decreased by 4 points.

^ They as corrupt as JP Morgan himself.

I’m kinda skeptical at those. What kind of idiot uses a work email to register at ashleymadison’s website??

Why the concentration on JPM and where are you even getting the information?

I’m 70% bid that CvM is some C suite guy at JPM who just likes to dick around here in his free time.

Lots of other banker emails on that list, those were just the easiest to grab. I don’t work at JPM. Someone here surely has a ‘friend’ that works at JPM and can verify if those individuals are still/were employed.

And Itera, professionals would never ever use their email for personal items. Ever. Especially at a top shop.

So I’ve been in Korea for about a week and a half now and what can I say, LIFE IS GOOD…I’ve got a spanking brand new 2000 sq. foot 3 bedroom apt. with a 200 sq. foot terrace running the entire length of my apartment with a view overlooking Korea’s main river and nightline…Why do I need 3 bedrooms? Good question,…the main bedroom is for my queen size bed,…where CHUNG is going to f@*k every hot chick in Korea over the next 2 years (5 down, 1,000,000,000 left to go)… the second bedroom is for my harem of chickies, and the third bedroom is for all of you f@*kers when you come out to visit my ass in Korea. I go out to Korea’s finest clubs, bars and lounges pretty much every other night on the weekdays and everyday on the weekends to (I think in about 2 months, after I learn a little bit of the buyside business I’ll probably go out every night on the weekdays).

I know I was a stud in NYC but I pretty much get about, on average, 5-8 phone numbers a night and at least 3 hot chicks that say that they want to go home with me every night I go out. I love the buyside,… I have bankers calling me everyday with opportunties and they pretty much cater to my every whim - you know (golfing events, lavish dinners, a night out clubbing). The guys I work with are also all chilll - I live in the same apt building as my VP and he drives me around in his Porsche (1 of 3 in all of Korea) to work and when we go out. What can I say,… live is good,… CHUNG is KING of his domain here in Seoul…

So,… all of you f*@kers better keep in touch and start making plans to come out and visit my ass ASAP, I’ll show you guys an unbelievable time…My contact info is below…Oh, by the way,… someone’s gotta start fedexing me boxes of domes,…I brought out about 40 but I think I’ll run out of them by Saturday…

Peter Chung The Carlyle Group

This Peter guy ended up getting fired over that email.

But this example you posted is exactly why it’s even less likely to happen. There have been so many blowups with people using corporate email, people would have gotten the message by now?

It’s amazing how stupid people are though. A guy I work with (same firm, very different department) figured if a website isn’t blocked by IT then it’s okay to view. Guess what he tried? Netflix. For whatever reason, IT hasn’t blocked Netflix so this guy would turn it on in the morning and watch shows all day long. It was pretty easy for IT to figure out something was weird when GBs worth of data were coming to this guy’s workstation. He wasn’t let go, amazingly, but his computer activity is now being monitored much more closely.
