Being late

I also realize how terribly ironic that looks based on my avatar. I’ll just shut up now.

Good luck with your obsession, PA. I hope some day you can find peace.

But they’re terkin err jawwwwbs!

Seriously, see a therapist. Your negativity has got to be weighing you down.

That was a far better logo for the Pats than the current one.

What makes you think that you’re being objective?

Europeans work smarter, way smarter. Chinese work harder, but much ‘dumber.’ Americans (+Canada) attempt to appear to work hard but really just put in the hours slacking off. Note: Not saying Chinese are dumb. They just arent economically productive people per hour of work.

^ GDP per hour worked does not support your opinion, unless Europe consists only of Norway and Luxembourg.

The way you phrase it, it sounds like you’re saying productivity differences are due to attitude towards work, not infrastructure differences that have arisen over hundreds of years of different growth rates. If you remove a German worker in a factory full of robots and replace him with a Chinese immigrant, the productivity will be the same. It’s just that a lot of wealth had to accumulate in the country over many years, so they could afford to buy those robots.

So, this is the same mischaracterization that PA has made, which is in attributing productivity differences to people, rather than the situations that those people are in.

The other difference is education levels, of course. Germans are much more likely to have university education than Chinese, for instance. In this sense, one could say that Germans have higher productivity potential. However, this is still relevant only in a country with a developed economy: Germans with finance or engineering degrees can really only use those degrees if the country can support financial services or technological research: things that are built progressively over time.

That’s been my observation too.

Also guys, obviously we are talking about work habits of the various cultures, not the local infrastructure which may allow for results even if the workers do almost nothing.

Not living in denial, is “being negative” according to Americans. Haha, it would probably help if in your comebacks, you did not use cliche Americanisms. But of course most Americans do not have the perspective to recognize these cliches, thus cannot stop.

So a pirate walks into a bar. The pirate has a steering wheel sticking out of his crotch.

The bartender asks, “Pirate, did you know that you have a steering wheel sticking out of your crotch?”

The pirate responds, “Aye matey, and it’s driving me nuts!”

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

^One of my all time favorites.

Another meeting with Americans today, 2 of 3 late. Me? On time as usual, shirt pressed, presentation up and running.

I chatted with an American later in the day on this topic. And I quote “basically everyone is a lazy bum now, fall of society, one of many reasons why we are failing around the world…also people can’t even write basic sentences with proper punctuation, total loser douche bags”. Yes, I so agree!

PA, is this your work?

Pretty clear that people find your time to be worthless.

im always on time and I gave you my all so baby be mine.

Yep, and another good indication is if the people you’re presenting to are on their phones. The presenter would love to blame it on people’s addiction to their phones and rude behavior, but the fact is whatever you’re presenting isn’t as interesting as you think it is.

^ yes

LOL @ “shirt pressed”. So fancy!

I was 2 minutes late for my class last night.

My t-shirt wasn’t pressed.

I bet he was cute, adorable. Was probably wearing his little spring outfit.
