aimee- the alts in the 1st schweser test was private equity- that one for sure was a new item set. i didn’t look at last year’s vs this year, but on exam 2 the PM was all of the new tax stuff. so seems they are including some new material.
Ok, glad to hear it. I was getting nervous about that b/c it seems like there’s a lot of testable new info to get on top of. Could you tell if the sample exams were the same as last year?
i don’t think the samples were identical, but there were quite a few item sets that were the same or extremely similar. still a pretty valuable tool i think. i remember last year’s sample 2 being a killer- didn’t feel as bad this year. either it changed or i got better. the jury is still out on that one. 
i love that they’re giving us the mocks for free and printable. i won’t take those until very close to test date, but that is a nice $$ saver and awesome to be able to review the actual materials.
1 AM : 42/60 = 70% 1 PM : 45/60 = 75% 2 AM: 42/60 = 70% 2 PM: 48/60 = 80% Sample exam - 20/30 - 67% I just screwed up in 2PM and lost some easy points of Corp Fin (should be 6/6 instead of 4/6 …missed easy calculation) and Economics sucked - 8/12. Nice job Aimee. Banni : you are killing sample exams too. You gals are locked now.

Dont be so discouraged everyone… Book 1 (took these about 2-3 weeks ago) 1AM: 54 1PM: 60 2AM: 52 2PM: 64 CFAI Sample: 66 (took this last week) Book 2 (took this yesterday) 3AM: 63 Saving the 3rd test from the first book (book 6 you guys call it) for a confidence booster towards the end… Will continue to work thru book 7 and the cfai stuff for 2 weeks then will go back to book 6, exam 3…

wholy cow… Is there a survivor ship bias here? Why everyone is at least 70+, some even over 80+ I did my book 6 last week and weekend, Test 1: AM: 65% PM: 68% Test 2: AM: 66% PM: 66%
For my sake, i hope there is a survivorship bias… your scores look good to me irishgyy… I am averaging slightly less than 60… Please let there be an AF bias!!
Exam 1 AM 93% There were no crazy item sets and the focus was on core concepts, which helped quite a bit. Also sometime you hit this zen-like state and see all the traps, but its elusive next time
