The various methods to calculate returns, are we memorise all these formulae ? They seem quite complex and easy to forget.
As long as they are in the curriculum, they can be tested even though I don’t remember seeing any of them for GIPS portion on past year CFAI exams that are available to me. While I hope they will not appear in the exam, I won’t take any chances.
