Here it is: Position Category: Risk Management Position Title: Risk Analyst Job Level: Analyst / Entry Level Location: USA - NY - New York Education Required: Bachelors Degree The Alternative Investments Risk group at a large US bank is looking to hire a Risk Analyst to perform stress testing, calculate Risk Capital and perform reporting. This role is ideal for someone with 0-3 years of experience in Risk. No prior risk experience needed. This role will give you exposure to Hedge Fund and Private Equity businesses. The group manages risk for the Hedge Funds, Private Equity and other Alternative Investments which includes exposure to multiple asset types. Description: - Perform stress testing and calculate Risk Capital on the alternative investments portfolio. - Allocate Risk Capital to the various funds. - Prepare presentation for senior managers. You will have direct access to head of Risk. - Coordinate reporting exercises. Skills: - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. - VBA and SQL helpful. - CFA level 1 will be helpful. Should be comfortable interacting with senior management, should be a quick learner and detail oriented. Should be willing to learn about multiple asset classes.
