Part of America seems to be going crazy because some team owner made racist remarks, and that seems pretty similar to the Igor x indian actress incident. Donald Whatever’s comment was pretty stupid and Igor’s comment was at best unfortunate (this is giving the benefit of the doubt in which he was really taking about perfumes). As a believer in freedom of speech, I think both are entitled to fully express their opinions. That doesn’t mean I have to like them.
Isildurrr, I think the gripe people are having with you is that you shouldn’t be fighting fire with fire. A couple people here made unpolite generalizations about indians. When you come back at them making generalizations about americans, you may end up offending every american in the thread, including the ones that were sympathetic to your views.
But an even bigger dumbass–Elrond. He knew what the Ring was. He knew after Isildur picked it up that he had the opportunity to destroy it, and with it, destroy the biggest evil that Middle-Earth had even known. So he does the logical choice–let Isildur walk away with it.
Why didn’t he just stab him in the back or cut his head off or something, then push his body into the volcano? What a tool.
Well aware of the hypocrisy involved. Didn’t feel like taking the high road or being logical in that environment. Where was their sense of outrage when it wasn’t Americans we were generalizing about i wonder. Not caring about what is not in your hands is a great thing, Apathy though is as bad as ignorance.
I find it laughable that they will defend being obnoxious with ‘freedom of speech’ and ‘liberty’. What a joke, Half the world is free and the other half are giving their lives to get it. Can’t think of any other country that would give such a half assed ridiculous argument.
Fk it, Freedom fries and guns baby. 'Murica…F.U.C.K Y.E.A.H
The subject line itself was more than enough for anyone to understand your thoughts… Either your thoughts are the effect of your lost mental equilibrium or you need to change the way you put across your thoughts on a public forum.
