I’d like you to point out the post which i thought was stupid which wasn’t actually stupid. If you pay attention and follow which Mobius couldn’t seem to do you’ll realize it wasn’t the argument about accents which pissed me of. It was the comment which Igor passed ‘I wonder what she smells like’. Considering that’s thrice now the terms been dropped once by you and once by STL i think we can all say openly what it means. If the women in question happened to be any other nationality he wasn’t passing that comment.
The comment wasn’t even particularly witty or clever. It was born out of ignorance and perpetuated by even more of it. He might have meant it as an offhand or one of remark but then why go and talk some more shit’ I was talking about her perfume’. That comment would not be acceptable in a face to face discussion so what makes it acceptable on the internet? If he’s able to say that in real life, fair enough but consider he pussied out even under the mask of anonymity i doubt it.
Also generalizations promote ignorance and are offensive to quite a few people on this planet. You could say grow a thicker skin and you could say i’m too sensitve but guess what? There are tons like me and i’ve managed just fine throughout the world and all the places iv’e been.

There are several factors. Feminists or progressive minded people tend to be more articulate than their conservative counterparts. Internet users also tend to be young, and young people in general are more liberal than old people. Women also get emotionally invested in arguments.
