I am really scared here.
I am already fed up of this program.
I just don’t think I failed this exam, last year I had band 8 and this year i did better …hopefully its just an error
Just see the first box “Apply for Scholarship”. I have tried 7 more times and still don’t see the second box “Not eligible”. There is no way I can pass this exam (I would be lying if I say I don’t hope for a miracle though). I did extremely bad. The MPS must be below 50 if I pass … Anyways, I think I can move on now, back to study in December then. Congrats those who passed!

I don’t think I failed either. But one thing I’m certain of is that the CFAI site WILL allow me to apply for a 2017 scholarship and WILL NOT allow the majority of AFers apply. Definitely not a sure thing…but it is concerning.
The ‘Scholarship’ thing is flimsy baseless argument… don’t lose hope because of AFers… Last year, I had hopes because of the short/long error thingy - I ended up a Band 10…
Pretty sure everyone can apply for scholarship? It’s just the 2nd box that says ‘Not eligible to apply’ that we’re discussing, I thought?

Short/long error makes way less sense than scholarship application, though. At least not being able to apply for scholarship has some sort of logical trail to passing the exam.
I thought there are three grps of ppl:-
Grp 1:-
Only “Apply for 2017 box”
Grp 2:-
Both boxes
Grp 3:-
Only “Not Eligible” Box.
I am falling in Grp 2.
I see both messages, but still can apply. Is there somebody who cant apply at all?

What happens when you click on “Apply for 2017 Scholarship”?
Obviously theres a survivorship bias on Analyst Forum… so you would expect this sample to be better than “normal”
