Clubs in Vegas?

Going there for a bachelor party 3/31-4/3. Tower suites or something at bellagio. QUESTION: what clubs to go to? Right meow, 15 guys with like 5k kicked in for bottles. Current setup 5 bottles at “XS” - bottles with tax an everything with decent tables (by the womens bathroom…) is like 4 something (4300 I think). Should we run this and have one night with bottle service, or get 4 bottles each night at lax and pure? Any Vegas pros with insight? Other things we should be doing/considering?

Jcole21 - I am there for a bachelor party that exact same weekend. We are staying at the Palms Casino Resort. Going with a bunch of english lads so it will be a riot. I will buy you a shot courtesy of AF.

Pure is definitely a must. That club is pretty sick but the bill will be steep. When we were there it was right around $800 per bottle with a two bottle minimum. I would also recommend Tao in the Venetian. I have always had a great time there and it is not quite as expensive as Pure. I have not been to LAX but I have heard good things about it.

I’ve been to Vegas a few times and XS is by far my favorite. You’re gonna love it. BTW, the women’s bathroom part cracked me up. Nice logistics.

Make sure to check out all the touristy stuff, like Crystals that’s fun too. If you have a laid back drinking night, Blue Martini is a pretty fun locals bar that all the Las Vegasites drink at. It can be a great time.

Also, Ghost Bar isn’t really the hot spot anymore, but personally, I always feel like it’s something I have to loop by for at least like 30 minutes at the start of every trip. For me, I haven’t really gotten to Vegas until I’ve had a drink at Ghost Bar.

Wait… you can do something else besides playing poker in vegas?

if you wanna cut back on costs, the Venetian suggestion is the best in Vegas but Pure is the real deal Holyfield.

There are some clubs that are cheaper than LAX and Pure at which you’ll have just as good a time. Check out some off-the-strip ones, like Rain at the Palms or Vanity at the Hard Rock.

Luxor is cheap too

I would also recommend getting a cabana by the pool at the hotel you are staying at. They are usually around $300 for the day and you can order food and drinks from your server. Its nice because it gets you outside in the nice weather and you get some eye candy with the chicks at the pool. Also pretty economical if you have a bunch of people with you.

Shoot me an e-mail (CFAhustler@gmail.com) and we’ll definitely get together for at least one. We’re gonna wreck this town, hooligan style. I should have clarified, it’s almost the same money for 5 bottles at XS one night vs either 4&4 or 3&4 (not sure) at LAX/Pure. I’m thinking I’d rather hit both clubs, but the dude’s in charge are somewhat set on XS. Wake bring your grumpy a$$ out - blow off some steam before June - I know you’re getting that middle-office money you can pickup a bottle at XS for the crew - free place to crash and a private dance on me (not on me, I mean I’ll pay for it - and there will be some on me as well, but you’ll probably be on another couch while that’s going down, or in the champagne room).

We’ve been debating this - my brother-in-law had a hookup at one of the better pool casinos (he serviced their debt, which was distressed), but a hedge fund scooped it up and replaced all his connections. Now we’re not sure - do you have to buy bottles with a cabana, or are there minimums?

You are not required to buy bottles or anything, however, you have a server assigned to your cabana so they will expect you to order drinks and food. If you don’t then good luck getting them to do anything for you. Overall I have had very good exeriences with cabanas (at Caesars, Mirage, MGM). I go out with a big group every year for the first round of the NCAA tournament and we usually get one most of the days because they have TVs, couches, etc.

^ This is probably ambiguous for someone who doesn’t know the deal there. Basically you reserve a cabana for lets say $500 minimum. That means that you have to spend $500 (including tip) on food and drinks by the time you leave, or you will be charged the $500 anyway. If you get there early enough, with 15 guys you won’t have any problem meeting that minimum - you might even want to get two cabanas next to each other.

So is there a fee for the cabana, or just a minimum amount of spending that you commit to?

No fee - just a minimum amount of spending AFAIK

It depends on where you go. I can’t speak for all of the hotels on the strip, but I know I have personally paid for a cabana at the Mirage and it was $300 plus whatever food or drinks you order. It sounds like some other places are looking for a minimum spend of $500, like what King_kong was saying. Either way they expect you to order food and drinks at them. Just talk to them up front and figure out what their minimums are.

Best thread in the OT for months. Have any of you jabronis stayed at Aria? I’m headed out there for a bachelor party in the middle of May (probably a terrible idea).

That’s where we were going to stay, but some country music festival or PBR championship or something got us bumped from our suite there. I’ll check it out and let you know. I’ll also prepay $10 at the Rhino for you.
