My dating advice is pretty simple: date the woman you’re going to marry early, then stick with her.

We met in 01/79, got engaged in 04/79, and got married in 12/79. This December marks 36 years. I was 20 when we got married. She wasn’t.

Sometimes you just know it’s the right person. I know plenty of people who’ve been dating for years without getting married, often than not they split up in the end, what’s the point? Most people don’t show their true color until after marriage anyway.
