Did not pass a single mock exam, however, you passed the actual exam? Anyone.

Lots of level 1 passers have claimed this. I think it’s because the mock questions are more confusing than the actual exam questions. Plus, there’s a bit of curve - MPS is typically 67 to 68%.
You think you scored over 65%?
I hope so! I’m honestly not sure.
If you look at the historical pass rates, December passing rate is significantly lower than June’s exam. I found that interesting/concerning.
I’ve thought about it, too. Not sure why it’s significantly lower. It’s certainly a concern.
How does one pass a mock exam? Do you do a full modified angnoff method based on results posted on AF or what? How do YOU set the MPS? Hmm…
Lots of June failures write it, and if they failed once, a combination of (a) lack of intelligence (b) poor study habits or © poor work ethic may be difficult to overcome. It’s a weaker pool, comprised mostly of past failures (of which I was one, so I’m not being unfair).
70% or more. That’s how I looked at it.
If you are getting 65% or better you are on the right track!
I can’t think of a reason for you to be unfair. You’ve got the charter, so I’ll believe pretty much anything you say.
Did it three times.
Did it three times.
You took L1 three times?
i find the mocks are quite similar to the actual (am i the only one??) in terms of difficulty, and if i fail all my mocks i don’t think i would magically pass the actual exam.
although CFA is weird like that, you never really know how they come up with the bands and determine if you pass/fail.

I think it’s safe to say there are more freebies on the actual exam and the actual exam questions are more straightforward.
I didn’t pass 1 mock, so I think I’m toast unless the MPS is somewhere around 65%.
Whats a freebie?
I don’t think I encountered one… so unfair!

There are no freebies!!
if you think they are freebies you probably have fallen into their traps?

No, didn’t fall into a freebie trap. What I mean by freebies is a know it or don’t answer. I don’t want to give you an example in case it violates.
I never broke 55% in any mock at any time in level 1 or level 2, and I still passed. (Although with L2 I may have hit 60s, but not with L1).
I remember the weekend before I took the L1 exam, I did the mock, and got like a 45-50% on it. I pretty much cried myself to sleep that night, but managed to pull it together that week and and owned the exam. Please prepare better than me.
There were definetely like 10 freebies per morning and afternoon…
Willingness…

Respectfully, we really don’t need this if you’re joking…
I’m not.
