I keep seeing Fidelity slammed in various posts when salary is up for debate. Did I miss the joke post? Can someone post the link given it was not bounced by ch.ad?
where did you go to school? if not DeVry/Phoenix , then fidelity is not the place for you.
I went to Fidelity’s office at the World Financial Center in New York. I was promptly kicked out and was told to never show my face there again. When I asked why, I was told that my OTR Zegna suit wasn’t Brioni or Kiton bespoke - this made the company look bad. As I was escorted out, one of the junior analysts threw a brand new iPhone GS at my head and said, "We don’t use these anyway. "
I was employed at Fidelity but lasted one day mainly because my ass developed a rash from using $100 bill toilet papers in their men’s room.
Back office compliance officer @ Fidelity > Chuck Norris. True story.
Fidelity has a beta of infinite
Doesn’t Daj work at Fidelity? I think that is the only firm in town that demands 27 hour work days.

Yeah I love that guy. Did you know he can’t swim?
The YTM and price of Fidelity corporate bonds can go up at the same time.

Fidelity’s cost of capital is less than the risk free rate.
You can buy just 1 Fidelity stock and be fully diversified and obtain all portfolios on the EF curve.

Analysts don’t work here.

There was a post a while back asking about post-MBA analyst salary and someone made a comment about how much someone there made, and apparently no one believed it.

I believe it. Its a private company and can pay anything in the good market. They are not accountable to Fed.
That’s because most people on this site make far less than $100k per year and are either entry level or not even in financial services.
