Frames for CFA charter

Other option: frame it yourself or leave it in the tube. I haven’t come across another charterholder who got their charter framed.

Does anybody care about the look of US Dollar of Pound Sterling banknotes? Fu…k it! This is not important - value is what important. I personally do not care what a logo CFAI puts on my certificate.

Hey guys,

In case anyone is looking to get a frame, Framing Success is having a 20% sale right now. Not sure how long it lasts, but with the 20% discount and the chapest CFA frame they have ($152), it comes out to $121.60 before shipping. Not too bad.

Code is 13002.

Here is the link to their frames - they even have a couple of the old ones still left!

Tried the code and it didn’t work for me. Anyone have any updated codes? It appears like they do the 20% off each year. After checking out custom frames at Michaels, $120 seems like a bargain!

Anyone found any other options? I could skip the embossing, but would like the mat.

I would go to Michael’s and buy a frame for $20. Rest $100 will be spent on booze and dinner when I get that piece of paper.

I wish you luck in finding a frame that size at Michaels for $20.

are we talking about the diploma that you can order again from CFAI should you lose it or are we talking about Mona Lisa??

i don’t think i will even frame it or put it up, it looks very… dated, it doesn’t suit the rest of my room!

as proud as I am, mine is likely staying in the tube and put into my closet.

Michaels offers an excellent custom framing service. They will walk you through the process and advise you in the selection of each component that goes into the frame. The whole things isn’t cheap though, as the lowest eastimate I was given ran at around $220. If you really care about displaying your “once in a lifetime” accomplishment in a nice frame, then I would recommend you go to them rather than a website. Personally, I don’t really care so I will cut the piece of paper to make it fit into a standard 16"x20" frame, which cost me $25 at Michaels.

For my 29th bday the gf got my cert framed for me:

…it’s now sitting in a closet.
