Game of Thrones Season 6

99.5% confident she’s Russian.

*** spoiler alert *** The finale was great for me. It answered a lot of questions. It ended annoying plots that carried on throught the season. Arya’s return as a woman of many faces (kind of saw this coming) Jon Snow is not a bastard of Ned Stark (did not see this coming at all) Thommen’s death was annoying. Too simple and quick. I guess a stupid death for a stupid boy.

I thought Jaime would kill Cersei this episode. Maybe next season I suppose. I wonder what Sansa and LF are plotting especially as Jon is breaking all the vows…left the NW and is now going to wear a crown.

No chance jaimie kills cersei. I don’t see the logic there at all. Jon is a true born noble, Ned gets his honor back. But it stays secret? Who’s going to believe Bran can see the past?

Based on Varys’ traveling abilities, Dany has already killed Cersei so it’s nbd.

No but Jaime is obviously all done with his sister. I assume they will have Tyrion end her, but she literally did the thing he killed Aerys over.

Some part of me thinks Bran isn’t the only one who knows. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Varys (or hell, even Littlefinger) knew about Jon’s true birth.

All in all the finale was f’ing outstanding. Probably the best overall episode they’ve done.

Benjen likely knows about Jon being a Targaryen/Stark. And from S6E10 it’s clear he’s coming back to join Jon.

Well he can’t pass through the wall, so that thing has to come down. Which I’m guessing it will eventually.

Last couple of episodes were great. Interesting that we get confirmation that Jon Snow is not Ned’s son in the same episode where he’s named the new King of North based on being Ned’s son. I guess he’s still technically a Stark, but interesting.

Was surprised to see Margaery Tyrell and her father killed. Now we may never know what her actual plan was, unless it was simply to have Loras confess and then be set free after Cersei’s trial. Not much of a plan if that was it.

Not sure who will kill Cercei, Jaime or Tyrion, but most of the prophecy has come true, so seems pretty much a lock the rest will come true. Is Daeny the younger, more beautiful queen who will replace her, or could it actually end up being Sansa? My money’s on Daeny (hard to beat a large army and a trio of dragons), but you never know.

Jaime has to kill Cersei because that would complete his character arc. Tyrion doing that is nbd, Jaime otoh is the guy who tried to kill a little boy for Cersei.

I’m sure a few people know - Ben, Howland Reed, Jeor Mormont apart from the dead Kingshusrd. But I doubt Varys or LF know. How could they? Ned’s story is watertight. I doubt even Selmy or Jon Connington know.

In ADWD page 806, Selmy laments his failures: Jaehaerys, Aerys, Robert. “Three dead kings.” In addition: Rhaegar, Elia, Aegon, Rhaenys. “Dead, every one, yet he still lived, who had sworn to protect them.”

On other notes, I think casting of Euron Greyjoy is complete horsesh$t. He doesn’t even have an eyepatch in the show and looks like a poorman’s Jack Black. The kingsmoot was lackluster.

Also, the Blackfish is alive. Why kill him offscreen? Stupid.

At least the producers got back on track this season and wound it up in a good way. I am excited for the future.

I hope the Winds of Winter comes soon.

Lot’s of things here and my guesses are still based primarily on much of the what’s happened in the books, so who knows, but…

Jaime may kill Cersei, but not for a while. Cersei’s prophecy is slowly coming true and the last bit of it is a queen more beautiful than her will rise up and take your crown. So, that leaves Dany or Sansa, really.

Benjen isn’t coming south of the wall (can’t) nor is it likely he knows Jon’s true origin. The only other living person that does know is Howland Reed. Also, it’s rumored that Lyanna was buried with Rheagar’s harp, so when they unseal the crypt to put Rickon in there, they may find that and smart people will guess the truth.

Bran is coming south of the wall so he’ll probably take up his place as Lord of Winterfell right as Jon finds out he’s a Targ. This will free up Jon to go join Dany (and probably marry her in true Targ fashion) to become the second head of the dragon. By this time either Dany has conquered/aligned with most of Westeros, and Jon will convince her to turn north to fight the White Walkers.

I’m a little concerned the war is getting lopsided though. Now we have Dorne, the Martells, Starks, any remaining Tully’s (still don’t believe the Blackfish is dead), and whoever the hell is in charge of Storm’s End all against the Lannisters. Not to mention the Lannisters are first on Dany’s hit list.

Then there’s Euron…who knows what he’s up to.

And, again, where the fuck was Ghost? He should have been sitting next to Jon in the Great Hall of Winterfell. Damn HBO and the lack of CGI budget.

Benjen dropped Bran off at the Wall (or the grove near the Wall) so that Bran will continue South to give Jon the news. Plus, Bran has the Night King’s mark on him, so he needs to get on the other side of the Wall for protection. That’s my guess

What? Selmy is dead and Connington isn’t even in the show.

StL, what do you mean by unseal the crypt? Put Rickon’s bones in Lyana’s box? That would be creepy. I would think that Rickon will get his own. Am I forgetting something?

If you remember, Lady Dustin had Reek show her the crypts of Winterfell. ADWD chapter 41.

I agree with your other points. Another person to consider is Little Finger. He’ll find a way to even the balance to put himself closer to achieving his ultimate goal.

Every generation before Ned’s, only the Lord of Winterfell was burried in the crypts. Ned insisted that his brother and sister be burried down there too (this being so odd it should raise a flag…why had Ned insisted?). Had Rhaegar left his harp with Lyanna in the Tower of Joy while he went to fight in the Riverlands, Ned could have taken it as a token of proof that Jon Snow is Rhaegar’s legit son…Ned wouldn’t have his sister entombed with the guy’s harp who was “raping” her.

Yes, Bran does know the truth know, but that’s not enough. He needs either someone else to collaborate his story or physical proof. Either Howland Reed shows up to confirm (popular theory whas he was the High Sparrow, so I guess that didn’t pan out), or Jon and Sansa find Rhaegar’s harp when they open the crypt. Pretty much the only two possible ways to legitimize Jon.

On the technical aspect of putting Rickon’s bones in Lyanna box, that’s not how the crypts work (again, according to theory). It’s like a giant stone slab under which Ned’s dad, brother, and sister all lie next to each other. They don’t get individual boxes.

Benjen has to know, given this is his sister and he’s trustworthy. Jeor probably knew too given how he immediately started grooming him for command.I don’t think Jon and Dany will marry, they’re not each other’s type.

I think Jon will just take a trip to the crypt and find Rhagars harp…

The dragon has three heads. Maybe they’ll reveal Aegon after all. Or maybe…a certain someone else will not be who he appears to be.

I seriously doubt Benjen knows and the point is moot anyway since he can’t go south of the wall (at least as long as it stands). Jeor promoting Jon had to do with him being, presumably, Ned’s son, raised in a castle, trained by a Master-at-Arms, and taught by a Maester. There’s absolutely no reason for Joer to know the books/shows biggest secret. And, again, doesn’t matter because he’s dead.

You’ve actually upset me with how stupid of an idea that is.
