My grandfather was a rich man who played around a lot, cheating on my grandmother, who, admittedly, was a bit of a high maintenance princess herself. Then he met his second wife, got a divorce, married her, and - as far as we can tell - was completely faithful to her for 30 years until she died. (He remarried a third time and had a very pleasant last marriage before he died, but his great love was his second wife, and he’s buried alongside her).
Times change, environments change, people change. You may be a “slut” or a “player” until you meet the right person or decide you don’t want or need to do this anymore, and then you can be a one woman man or one man woman or one man man or one woman woman or whatnot.
That’s why it’s the connection and the way you relate that matters, not the number of previous partners.
You need to brush up on your comprehension skills my friend. Sex =/= intimacy and no where was that said, it remains the most intimate activity between 2 humans designed to give extreme pleasure.
I say that because like I said before you got into a snit, it seems exceedingly besides the norm to find a stable girl under the age of 21 to have slept with so many people and be completely okay with it, indeed the picture you would generally get is like another poster posted of an out of control girl due to various reasons who later regrets the choices she made and in what parallel universe is crazy = slut eh?
But of course in your own myopic view people expressing the same doubt must be doing in because they are insecure. I think we’re done here.

I normally like or at least respect isildur’s posts but I’m not sure why he’s so aggravated by BWYF’s points, which seem pretty balanced middle-of-the-road recognition that people have their own evolutionary paths and occasionally those paths involve behavior that can seem excessive in some way. BWYF says that wacky stuff happens, but that people are not and should not permanently dammned by their sexual pasts.
That seems pretty reasonable to me. What is your complaint, isildur?

Can a section where only people that don’t judge women by the number of penises she has had in her be created? Or just ban everyone that does. Are they really contributing much to the advertisers or keeping the interest of the people that do? Not that I matter much, or at all, but it’s getting old. Most of our wives and girlfriends weren’t virgins when we met them. I don’t get offended, but I’m thinking disassociating with those that consider them whores would probably be appropriate, No?
Isildurrr is in fact doing the slut shaming. The scary part is he doesn’t even realize it himself. There are many people all around the world that share his views. And it will continue as long as the culture (any culture) will require to assign the purity level to a woman. As long as the whole concept of purity exists. And i see it going away as clearly as i see the P/I conflict going away.
Also, to be fair, women do as much if not more slut shaming as men, and it goes beyond the number of partners. God forbid some woman’s sexual preferences differ from what they consider “normal”, she better duck! On a bright side it’s quite entertaining

Thank you, good to know. I’m not really aggravated at all by BWYF’s points at all despite how it seems. I’m glad he posted an anectode of a stable woman who made such a life choice to counter some other posters outlandish story. I do find it interesting that in his apparent assertion of ‘slut shaming’ he resorted to the exact opposite, is ‘prude shaming’ a thing? Judging by this thread it probably should be…
Also, Kr I find your comment in exceedingly poor taste. Looking back I can see why the ‘batshit crazy’ comment could be construed that way, however there is nothing to be served from bothering to rexplain that bit. The rest of your point on purity was so of trajectory and completely oblivious to the fact that there were reports posted of women who reported much greater happiness when in relationships as opposed to women who regularly ‘hook up’ which is where we diverted into the topic of ‘numbers’ and why perhaps women who report lesser ‘numbers’ could be a better bet. But of course, it must be ‘slut shaming’.
I agree. When I did stand-up I actually had a routine about how most of the people calling women “sluts” are other women. They say the word sharply, like they are stabbing a dagger: “slUTT”. Men don’t tend to call women sluts unless it’s someone that cheated on them. Any time else, men kind of caress the word warmly, “she’s such a SLuuuuttt,” like it’s a newborn baby that needs protection and nurturing.
If I met the perfect girl, I would marry her asap.
Any girls out there with < 30? Is that the final number that was agreed upon in this thread?
