i am fed up. giving up.

good luck guys. i am going out to enjoy and make the most of everything, may be ill try this next year with more time and better preparation. feel stupid for wasting last 1 month.

Are you serious?? The test is in 3 days! Bust your as$ and hope for the best.

I think I speak for everyone when I say please show up and give it a shot. It’s the best practice for next year. The result would read fail even if you didn’t show up.

Please show up for both sessions of the test, if you wouldn’t mind.

Pepp, at least go in and take a gander at the AM & PM sessions … A - it will help you get a feel of what you’ll need to prepare for next year, and B - it could help all of us borderliners facing the elephant regardless. The $650 is a sunk cost … don’t you want to at least see the thing?

Yea fuck it, maybe you can get some lucky guesses and pass.

I am trying to think, what will make me feel better: a) Going for the exam and seeing the FAIL. b) seeing the FAIL without going for the exam. With a, right now there is remote possibility (.001) that it may turn to a pass With b, i may regret my effort that i tried and the money i paid, and the shit i put myself thru. With a, the FAIL result be an embarassment to myself and all those who know me. With b, i save the embarassment at the cost of chickening out.

pepp, secret sauce it and show up for the exam, its the best review there is and its worth seeing it. You can pass this thing, you put in enough time. Read the secret sauce, show up and write both the AM and PM. Best case, you pass the exam and your in doing level 3 next year worse case, you know what the exam is like and you have an edge on the other level 2 candidates next year. Nothing to lose but to give it a shot. For studying, I highly highly suggest going over the secret sauce only.

Given the volatility of the exams and they could only throw 20% of LOS to the exam give it a shot, you never know. There could be a fair exam and sometimes it is unfair as well…

Pepp, if the candidate sitting next to you commits suicide during the exam, you get an automatic PASS. That should at least improve your odds to 0.002.

I’d rather fail knowing I at least tried than fail knowing I didn’t have the cajones to sit in a room for 6 hours.

cjones, i guess if i showed up with positive frame of mind, i might improve my chances by 3% and if i study for another 2 days i might make it count for another 5%. and if random guessed i am already making 33%. so i have 33+5+3. 41%, thats above my imaginative test score actually.

yes i just changed my mind. i am going for it. its about courage, and EYE OF THE TIGER song.

MAN UP and take the damn test

if you don’t have time any more stick with secret sauce as everyone stated. If it is me, I won’t never give up. I might die hard by saying I have failed lv2 XX times, but that might become my motivation and anger towards CFA insititute to conque it. Worst case scenario, gotta see what’s on the test and it is much better than mock could provide to you.

I love how everyone is trying to convince him/her to sit for the exam as if its in his/her best interest, and we’re all not trying to get some more “dead money” to come to the table on Saturday. At least I’m honest - “look Pepp, without knowing that you showing up and failing would increase my chances (hella-minimally, but if enough Pepp’s show up, than it could be meaningful) of passing, I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass what you do.” No offense or anything personal towards Pepp; I’d rather just call a spade a spade.

Dude, you said it yourself: You haven’t prepared right, so a fail is NOT an embarrassment. You can only win. If you are a band 10 or 9, then even that is a huge confidence booster for next year. Now read that secret sauce plus one or two of the curveball candidates (I’d go for PE and real estate). It’s a lottery, but if you know the curveball topic and have a decent knowledge of the rest, you might just pass!

take the test! i feel your pain started wayyy too late but am just going for it - another 40 hrs of study before the exam in my mind - made a massive difference for me last year and will do again!!!
