I started

L2 is harder because with 1/2 the questions, you have to get at least 2x as deep into the material. There are item sets also- 6 questions associated to a few paragraphs/charts- problem is, with the test being only 120 q’s, if you get seriously HURT on a 6 q item set, you are in big trouble. So it means you need to know the big stuff, but also the little stuff, and everything in between. It’s more frustrating because some of the big stuff you study won’t even show up on the test. Hours and hours of studying something and not a single question. But you have to study it anyways, because if it does come up and you skipped it, you’re dead. I’d say that more or less sums it up. I finished reading SS12 quant- going to attack the CFAI end of chapter questions this weekend. I missed all of the fun words like multicollinearity and heteroskedasticity. Time for me to get reacquainted with inflated std errors, type 1 errors, and how to correct these bad boys. oh baby. then it’s on to time series to wrap up sept. that might not be so much fun.

Bannisja at this relaxed pace how many hours are you studying a day? I was a bit relieved that Time Series wasn’t on the test but this time I need to get it down. Have fun with Quant. Just started watching the schweser equity video and will crack the books open. Good luck to everyone!

I will start after finishing my annual review of all the Star War DVDs.

pretty good procrastination tool the whole star wars series, good call. mamba- i don’t really count hours. my 1 hour might be your 10 minutes or vice versa. didn’t do much last weekend, was in Dallas, going to finish the SS12 problems this weekend, time series next weekend. really want to say f it this weekend after a crazy work week, but will do a bit. currently no more than like 2-3 hrs a weekend, 0 during the week. pretty minimal but not completely ignoring the fact that it’ll sneak up on me sooner than i think.

finishing SS11 today and might start SS12 tomorrow. i need 2nd wind though… and i’ve only been at it for 20 mins.
